What is this for?

This tool helps you find the Boards and Beyond video that most closely matches the UWSOM lecture material you will be covering in class each day.

Choose your block

The Map will automatically choose the appropriate block based on today's date, but you can navigate as needed with the buttons in the left-most panel.

Choose a lecture

The map will display the lectures scheduled for the chosen day. You can change the active lecture with a simple mouseclick.

View the recommended content

The map will show the recommended Boards and Beyond videos based on the lecture you've selected. Different recommendations are tagged based on a few criteria:

• title lecture name has words also in a BnB Video title
• zoom_in_map most times the algorithm suggested this, it was a tight fit
• target this video was the most related among other recommended videos
• tag the algorithm suggested this BnB video frequently
• list lecture name has words found in the BnB index

Choose content to study

Click on the videos you'd like to add to your list! They'll be tracked on the right-most panel. Look for the check_circle icon, which indicates you've studied this video on a prior day.

Save your schedule

Click the save button in the bottom right in order to easily convert your schedule to Anki tags OR generate a template that you can open as a .docx or .pdf file.

Importing your saved schedule to Anki

Once you've saved your schedule, open the Med Map drop-down from the Anki toolbar (top of your screen) and select "Create Anki tags." Your selected Boards and Beyond lectures will be found and tagged based on the block, week, day, and lecture!
